In a sense this is a bearskin rug. However, do not let the name fool you my friend. This is not made from the skin of a bear. Oh, no no. This is made out of cast urethane rubber. I do wonder if it smells, but am rather confident that if it were on a slick surface (like a hardwood floor) that it would squeak a little when walked on.

Here is a link to the site that sells it. This place only sells it in white; however, I think there is also a black urethane version out there.

Oh yeah, and keep this way away from the open fire.
