Fractal-like Images in Rugs

5'7.5
As a final installment in the repetition series, I have included a picture of one of the rugs from Hazaad.com. This is a “geometric” or “linear” design that utilizes a great deal of clean lines.

There are many examples of fractal-like repetition in this kazak. However, for some reason I particularly like the lines around the three medallions in the middle of the rug.

Not only does this rug have fractal-like repetition it also directly mimics the fractal behavior of nature with the depictions of branches and flowers in the medallion and in the border of the rug.
